Wespark Master HOA will accept sealed bids from qualified contractors for the open space
improvements in the Wespark neighborhood of Romeoville, IL.
Bids shall be received at Schoppe Design Associates, 126 W. Main St., Oswego, IL 60543.
The project includes, but is not limited to, the following:
A. Demolition, Removals and Site Preparation
B. Concrete and Asphalt Paving with associated excavation (curbs, footings & flat work)
C. Site Amenities (benches & trash receptacles)
D. Installation of Playground Equipment and Rubber Mulch Play Safety Surfacing
E. Landscape (restoration)
Bidding Documents: Will be available starting Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from Vesco
Reprographics, 1351 Aucutt Road, Montgomery, IL 60538; 630-896-2115 www.vescoplanroom.com .
All addendums and other communication with bidders shall be issued through the Vesco Planroom.
Wespark Master HOA is not responsible for communications received or not received through any other
source.
Said bids will be received up to the hour of 3:00 PM, local time on November 6, 2024, at the Schoppe
Design Associates offices at 126 W. Main St., Oswego, IL 60543. At which time and place said bids will
be opened and read privately.
Bid proposals shall be plainly marked, “Bid for Wespark Open Space Improvements” and marked
“SEALED BID, DO NOT OPEN” and be addressed to Schoppe Design Associates.
Contractors must have experience in this type and size of work for a minimum of five years and will be
required to furnish references and examples of projects. Bid security and performance bonds will be
required. The successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor,
and Material Payment Bond and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract.
The Owner encourages women and minority business firms to submit bids for the performance of the
Work and the successful bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors and suppliers for labor,
equipment, and services.
Wespark Master HOA reserves the right to reject any and/or all bid proposals or to accept any bid
proposal, which in its judgement, will be to the best interest of the public, or to waive any informalities in
bidding. Only bid proposals in compliance with the provisions of the Contract Documents will be
considered. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the
date of opening.
